Membership

By becoming a member of the Chinmaya Mission, you get access to classes, events, and community activities that help promote spiritual knowledge and Indian Culture.

This universal knowledge is invaluable and priceless, which is why in the Vedantic tradition, adult classes will always be free. However, you can show your support for the mission and these activities by becoming a member.

Membership is collected to support the Mission in holding the classes and organising events like Jnana Yagnas. Members get two votes per family and one vote per individual at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held once a year. Membership is mandatory for those who wish to serve on the CM board.

Membership Pricing

Fees are paid in August each year and cover membership from August to July. Members are eligible to attend the Annual General Meeting held in the fall. Please email the appropriate amount to treasurer@chinmayavancouver.org using Interac e-Transfer.

Individual Membership
$150/year
  • For adult individuals interested in attending classes and events. Includes one vote at the AGM.
Family Membership
$200/year
  • Required for families with children who attend Bala VIhar classes. Covers all children in a single family and includes two votes at the AGM.
