Hanuman Pooja – Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav
Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav is a global celebration marking 75 years of the timeless legacy of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. It is a collective expression of gratitude, joy, and renewed purpose, honoring Gurudev’s life and teachings through spiritual offerings, cultural programs, and community-led initiatives across the world. Through this festival of consciousness, Chinmaya devotees everywhere rejoice in 75 years of knowledge, service, and inspiration that continue to uplift and unite seekers of all ages.
As part of this global celebration, Chinmaya Mission Vancouver is honored to host a Hanuman Pooja, a sacred and inclusive community event dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the embodiment of devotion, courage, and selfless service. This special gathering invites families and devotees to come together in prayer and collective chanting, offering a powerful expression of unity and bhakti.

The Benefit of Hanuman Chalisa
Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa is believed to invoke inner strength, clarity, and steadfast devotion, while helping remove fear and obstacles. It inspires courage, humility, and selfless service in daily life, and chanting it helps one to attain all the four pursuits of human life: Dharma (Righteousness), Artha (Prosperity), Kama (Happiness) and Moksha (Freedom). Group chanting and pooja offerings amplify these benefits, creating an atmosphere of peace, strength, and harmony for individuals, families, and the wider community.
All contributions made in connection with this event are offered in the spirit of seva and will support Chinmaya Mission, its causes, and its ongoing spiritual, educational, and cultural activities across the Lower Mainland.
